Hello all,

I noticed that some applications include:

-copies of Passport

-copies of Passport Photos

-copies of our Social Security Cards

-copies of W2's

Are any of these required? I did not see this in the guideline as being needed.

As for my checklist - Here is what I have so far.

• Application fee - $465 (plus $80 biometric service fee) in a check of $545.00

• Form I-751

• Copy of USCIS Form I-551 (Permanent Resident Card)

• Copy 2009 US Federal and State Tax Return

• Copy 2008 US Federal and State Tax Return

• Copy of bank verification letter

• Copy of joint credit card accounts

• Copy of fixed annuity statements

• Copy of joint auto insurance

• Copy of LADPW utility bill

• Copy of Gas Company bill

• Copy of Cord Blood Registry enrollment with certificate

• Copy of baby registry

• Copies of Christmas cards, invitations and church certificates

• Copy of baby’s first arrival certificate

• Copy of hospital record with father and mother’s names

• Copies of hotel and airline receipts

• Copy of phone bill

Thank you for the response.

I seem to have more trouble making this instead of the I-129 or I-485.

Maybe its because it's the easiest or the smallest packet we have yet to send.

Or maybe its just because its been 2 years since we worried with USCIS.

How about lease or house deed in your names, drivers license showing same address?

The house lease or deed is only under my name and my mothers name.

However, we do have our California DL showing the same address.

I have read suggestions from other filers that it might not be a bad idea to include an explanation of your living arrangements which would explain why no lease/deed is included. Our house is only under my husband's name and that is what we are planning on doing. Good luck!

Best to send in tax transcripts showing joint filing instead of returns. EASY to get. 800 829 1040. Free and took me one week to get them.
