Our Congresswoman checked our case...it is being adjudicated??

Hello everyone,

Sooo..we are currently on Month 5 of waiting for our NOA2 for the I-130. Frusturated beyone belief, we called our local Congresswoman to see if she could check on our case. She did this (it took about a week and a half). Anyways, it says that our case is currently being Adjudicated? Does anyone know how long we should expect to wait now??

This is soooo hard knowing that there are so many more steps

Any help would be appreciated...

Also...does anyone have the link to that Jame's shortcuts for the NVC

Hey!

When ur case is with an adjudication officer, the USCIS says it takes up to 30 days - that's what they told us when our case was at that stage.. In reality it only took them 3 days to approve it! So, news should be coming soon for you guyz!

Don't mention it! I would suggest you make a registration on the USCIS website (if u haven't done it yet) - that way you can check from the option MY PORTFOLIOS when ur case is being handled a.k.a TOUCHED!
