SO I BEEN APPROVED SINCE JUNE 2010 AND ON MY NOTICE OF ACTION FOR APPROVAL IT STATED THAT IT WAS VALID FROM JUNE 7,2010 - OCOTOBER 7 , 2010......CAN ANYONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT DOES THAT MEAN??

They are always valid for 4months but should your have an interview outside f the 4months the Consulates will automatically extend the validation dates because some embassies are well out of the 4 month range when it comes to assigning interview dates. It also means that should you get an interview date and for some reason you cant make the date they give you that falls within the 4months then you have only within those four months to use the NOA2 I hope I didnt confuse you. so to make it simple if it there fault that you dont get an interview within the 4months they will automatically extend the validation of the NOA2 but if it is your fault for example you dont have all the docs for the interview then it is only valid for those 4 months unless you request an extension....Good luck hope I didnt confuse you too much.....

Have you called the NVC to make sure they have gotten your petition, or if they already sent it to the embassy? You might want to email the embassy and ask them to email packet 3 - come down to the Yardie thread, there are a ton of people who can give you guidance - Many people in JA never receive packet 3 in the mail - Best to do what you can do to gather everything together and try to get the interview scheduled.

If I were you I would email the embassy to see if they received it. My fiance received packet 3 and 4 in all together after I inquired so many different times, but all of this was after I had emailed the ds-230 to them with fiance's "signature".. They sent him two pieces of paper. One with the website addresses for all the forms you will need to bring with you to the interview and the other with his interview date. The faster you do this the faster you can get an interview date and will not fall outside the valid period for the visa approval. I hope this helps a bit.
