So we got packet 3 yesterday which we are really excited about...and I'm now organising my police certificate. I'm been told two different things and wondered if anyone else could help me. Is it a 'Federal Police Cerificate' that I need to get (the form is downloaded off the website & finger printing is done at the Local police station) which i then mail off to them? OR is it just from my local police station??

Also does anyone know the fee amount?

Always appreciate your help!!!

Do you have a criminal history? if so then you need fingerprinting. If not then go to your local police station and pick up the paper they do there.

Just call local police station where you live, make an appointment, and they give you the form to fill out and also do finger printing. They send it to head office , not sure where you live but in sydney it was sent to Parramatta and took 4 weeks to be sent back to me as I had to send that in with all my documents plus a copy. Don't forget your copies and they will return all your originals back to you at interview.

Hi There...It's a National Police Clearance Certificate you need.

Any police station will do it. Just download the form fill it in take it in with you. They will take your finger prints and then send you the certificate once they have done their checks. I thing the cost with finger prints was $152.00

All the best
