About biometrics and interview

Hi All,

Question about interview; Is interview taken at the time when called for biometrics? or a separate appointment is sent for interview? Do they call everyone applying to remove conditions on GC or select people for interview?

Also, is spouse required to come for biometrics and interview?

The interview is not taken at the time of biometrics. Everyone gets a biometrics appointment, but just some people get interview appointment.

The spouse is not required to attend a biometrics appointment, she/he must be present during an interview.

If you've already had the conditional green card, how come you don't know the answers to that?

Thanks dolphin1! I hope not to be called for interview as I'm working oversees. However, if we do get called for an interview, we'd able to reschedule it if need be...do you know?

I need to plan my travel back to the States. Can someone please tell me IF we do get called for interview, approximately when do we know? and average estimated time after the biometrics for interview date? For now all we have is NOA1 dating August 16th.

It is very difficult to determine a date or time frame for any case as each case is individual. I have been holding off my travel plans since we dont know when/if we'd be called for an interview etc. Sorry I know this post wont be helpful but just wanted to let you know, we are all in the same boat and know very little or nothing about the processing time for I-751.
