07/06/10 - NOA2 - Approved!!!! :)

07/12/10 - Received NOA2 in the mail

07/13/10 - Received at NVC

07/16/10 - NVC changes embassy per our request

07/19/10 - Told we are in AP @ NVC

07/30/10 - Case sent to Cairo embassy

08/05/10 - Case received at embassy

09/07/10 - Received packet 3 - FINALLY!!!

09/15-10 - 2nd trip to Egypt, returned home on 10/5/10

12/14/10 - Received interview date

01/09/11 - 3rd trip to Egypt

01/12/11 - Interview - APPROVED!!!...but AP

01/24/11 - Returned to the states without my habibi :(

04/06/11 - AP was completed!! :)

05/10/11 - Visa has been issued!!!

All is fine over here, still blazing hot and humid; how about you?

And no, he still hasn't received packet 3 yet. And I need to update his address so I've been trying to contact the embassy, sent them 2 emails and get up bright and early to call and can't get anyone to answer.

Hey Andrea and Mandy... i was wondering the same thing Mandy.. where is everyone... i wanted to start a thread but i was going to wait until i got home :blush: my favorite group is going to be in Atlanta next Thursday.. i wanna go but the good seats are taken and i don't know if i will have the money.. Tears for Fears .. omg i have wanted to see them and never got a chance,.. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY :crying:

Hi Wonderful!! I love Tears for Fears!! I hope you get the chance to go, even if you don't have great seats at least you will see them. The last concert I seen was Bon Jovi haha, and that was a few years ago.

Well my mother called me this afternoon, she got the letter today that is is officially a US Citizen :dance: I'm not sure what happened with her immigration, but she's been here for over 55 years, has a social security number, voters card, drivers license, everything and found out a few years ago she wasn't even a citizen!!

Hi Andrea!

We got our AOS interview letter for Sept. 17th. It's 3 months to the day from the day we filed.

I had my job interview this week. I faced questions from a panel of people. I got another call this morning for a second interview next Monday. They said I'm one of five applicants for this round. After that there may be a 3rd interview with a high level manager if they can't decide between the top 2-3 people. I never knew that getting a government job would be so grilling. We really need this money so cross your fingers for us.
