Kung inapply ka ng mom ng hindi pa sya US Citizen, still you will be categorized under F2B which is you can still apply for an opt out. I know someone na ganun ang case....They applied for an opt out..

I myself too applied for an opt out, I was F2A before and then applied last year for an opt out at the US Embassy then got approved and now already received my packet 4 for an interview next month..

^ thanks for the helpful advise, everyone!

at least i did 1 step today. i wrote NVC by email informing about the updates on my status. now, i will wait for their confirmation if they received it.

as for the opt out, i'd like to thank sis lynie12 for the help on the link. really, really appreciate it!

i plan to make the second step, to mail about the retention of F2B category when i already have my NSO certificate. that will not be ready until aug 31.

still keeping my fingers crossed that replies are immediate and feedbacks are positive.

good day everyone!
