Hie VJ-ers, I need quick advice on my K1 case. I'm the Malaysian beneficiary, and on July 31 I received Packet 3. Up till now I have not responded to the US consulate in KL due to several uncertainties in my relationship with my ex-fiance (a US citizen).

Now, however, I am very certain that we cannot marry, and thus, I will be stopping the visa application process.

My questions are, how exactly do I stop the process? Should I write to the US consulate in KL via email or snail mail? And if via snail mail, do I have to have the letter notarized?

Thank you in advance for your advice.

a handwritten letter suffices.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

So I cannot just send them an email? That would be a whole lot easier for me. ;)
