Hello everyone! I just found this site today...I'm on another forum, but this one seems to have info and help for all topics. Our story-my husband came on an F-1 visa in 1999. He attended school for a couple years. His sister petitioned for him in 2002? after she got her citizenship. In the meantime, he quit attending school because he couldn't afford it, so now he is an overstay. Last year, he received the notice that the I-130 filed was approved, but he is ineligible to adjust status due to the overstay. So now his only option is to get married. We just got married 7/30/10 and have been compiling all our info to mail off the I-130/I-485 packet. Hopefully we'll be doing that within a couple weeks! Anyway, happy to meet you all. I've already read a bunch of good info from the members!
