My son has sent in the N400 on 6/24/2010. Received NOA I797C on 6/29/2010. As of todate, we have yet to receive letter asking for him to do his Biometric Fingerprint. Do you know how long it takes them to send the appointment letter for Biometric fingerprint? :(

a month..depends on availability of dates and processing timeframes of certain applications

ROUND 4 - KNOCK OUT ROUND [N-400 Naturalization!!!

30-Mar-2010 N-400 Form sent to Phoenix Service Center

31-Mar-2010 N-400 Packet Recieved at 10:30am

13-Apr-2010 Check Cashed

16-Apr-2010 Recieved I-797C Notice of Action

20-Apr-2010 Mailed RFE (I believe must be Biometrics)

22-Apr-2010 Case Updated

27-Apr-2010 Received Biometrics letter set for May 13

13-May-2010 Biometrics Completed in PHX

11-Jun-2010 Receieved Text at 1:00 AM from USCIS "CASE TOUCHED"

11-Jun-2010 Case Transfered to Local Office, PHX for Interview

12-Jun-2010 Case Touched

14-Jun-2010 Interview Letter Recieved, Set for July 19th

16-Jun-2010 Case Touched

19-Jul-2010 Interview Day in Phoenix AZ @ 9:40am

25-May-2011 India Embassy recieved Renunciation application

06-Jun-2011 Received Renunciation Surrender Certificate from India Embassy.....grrr $ 190 bucks for one small tiny seal humph!!!

Ok that's must be your Biometrics letter- wait for 1 more week, if things don't goes well than contact USCIS customer service or make an Infopass

I suggest you contact USCIS now and place a service request to send you another biometrics letter. Insist that it got lost in the mail and mention that you already received the NOA so they have the correct address.

I wouldn't wait since some biometric appointments are in two weeks so it could be around this time and if they wait a long time, then it can get messy

Oh, the request for evidence notification online is actually your biometrics....

Thank you for replying. My son called to check what type of evident they need. They replied saying that the computer didn't show asking for evident. We did ask them to resend the letter dated July 26th, 2010 to us. Hopefully we will receive the letter by latest next week. Hopefully it is the letter asking my son for Biometric fingerprint. :whistle:

I totally second that. Also you could ask them the date and place over the phone. You need the letter to take with you but at least you will have the information. The appointment is usually 2 to 3 weeks after the letter.
