Woke up and started sneezing... taken two 24 hour anti allergy pills and still dripping

Then tried to clean the door handle and split my thumbnail top to bottom

This is typical day recently

In the last two weeks I have had toothache and been covered in mosquito bites across my back which rose into 1.5 " wide boils

Some months it's just one thing after another

Why do people(especially women) have no empathy with people who get a succession of minor ailments ?

Sometimes its just bad luck

I remember the guy who had 'I told you I was sick' on his headstone and I can see his complaint now.

Luckily I am am on my own this week so I am not getting derisive sneers to add to my woes

I thought this was a christian country - where's the love ?

I have allergies too. Drip, drip, drip. But I try to not whine about it because.... like you said, it's minor.

But those mosquito bites sound like a mutherfucker. Ouch.

As for why women do that, I have a theory which I will keep to myself. The only thing dudes need to understand is the only woman who will ever feel bad for you every time you whine, no matter how minor or trivial and no matter what else is going on in her life, is yo momma. Fo' real.

Man flu comes in many different varieties, not just in the form of an upper respiratory tract infection. Stubbed toes, "something feels strained in my wrist -- will I be able to play the guitar anymore???", nay, even mosquito bites can all be seen as different presentations of the same malady.

Mind you, the nail injury sounds horrible!

eta: I ripped a nail off once, I was pole dancing on a palm tree on New Year's one year. Hurt like a mofo. And I was already heavily medicated
