Like many May filers we had also not received the Bio appt. So we placed 2 Service Requests in a span of 8 days and the day we placed the second one we also received the Bio appt. Today we also received a duplicate NOA1. This time with full name printed. Earlier only the last name was completely printed and the rest were only initials. What next?? Another Bio Appt.?? I hope not.

Has this happened to anyone else.. (multiple NOA1s ??)

Well, as long as the information on the NOA's is correct, you shouldn't worry too much. I have not received two duplicate NOA's, but did receive two Biometrics and went to both just to make sure they don't mark me absent. Good Luck

When I received my response to my Bio Letter request, they told me that the reason I had called was to get a duplicated NOA1 (obviously not why I called). So I also received a duplicate NOA1 with my full name as well.

Now we received a duplicate Bio appt. notice also. But the appts. are on 2 different days one on Aug-13th and another one on Aug-25th. Should I call and talk to USCIS if I should attend both or just one of them?

Oh no!! Nightmare again!!!??? This (duplicate Bio letter) happened to April filers and made May filer's missing Bio letter...

I hope this not affect to August filers...

Well, you can attend just one of them :)

Its Best to attend both. You never know which one they'll be associating to your case. I went to my ASC and asked them to stamp my second bio letter since I already had my fingerprinting and they denied, saying they cannot give me anything in writing. The lady at the front desk receiving the bio letters suggested i appear for the second bio too, to avoid any un-nessisary delay and confusion.

I also received two Bio notices. I called USCIS Information line and they told me to send the second notice in for rescheduling and add a letter saying that this was my second biometrics notice. They also said that if they sent two rescheduled appointments notices, I should attend the earliest appointment and bring the second notice.

MrsSkull,

If I understand correctly what USCIS told you is to :

a)Send a copy of the second notice for rescheduling (with a letter saying that it was a second notice)

b)Attend the earliest one and bring the second notice.

This is all just so confusing...

Yes....It doesn't really matter if you attend both and if your ASC isn't a busy one, you are usually in and out in 20 minutes.

You have understood correctly. I'm only telling you what the information line told me. I am going to follow those instructions but if you feel more comfortable, attend both appointments. I will be going to my first rescheduled appointment and bringing my second notice, if they send me one.

Wait. Are you planning to reschedule your first appointment? If not, DO NOT send in second notice for rescheduling. That's what I did because I could not attend either of my notices. I would attend your first appointment and bring in the second notice.

No, I don't have to reschedule the first one, I can attend as scheduled.

I guess I'll attend both of them.
