ALrighty,

MSR- calls on Mondays

Tater-calls on Tuesdays

Leslie-calls on Wednesdays

? -on Thursdays

Me-calls on Fridays.

This is to keep an ongoing report and keep us from calling the DOS everyday to see if we have an interview date. The idea is that since we are around the same timing (give or take a month) then if one person gets a date....it will give us hope that ours will be soon :)

Report-Friday 08/06/10 - no interview date as of today :(

I know it's tough but Montreal is a terribly slow consulate. You're really looking at October interview now.

Just trying to keep it real

good luck

Oh I know the actual interview won't be for awhile but for those of us that are doing a K-1 we also need to be planning a wedding and we can't very well put deposits or book places or pick a wedding date until we know when our interview date is (yes I know there is the possibility of a denial but our case is pretty cut and dry). Even if its not Oct and its Nov/early Dec that works too!

I think Aug will be our month to hear something. I agree the interview won't be until Oct. but it would be nice to hear something so we can start to plan. Book wedding, sell house, give notice at work, have a big party with Canadian friends & family & start packing!!!!

Well everyone

I did call, no date yet! However, the odd thing was, she said that Montreal is the ONLY

consulate processing K1 visa's which we all know is not true. I pressed her on this

a little, ( in a polite way of course ) but she insisted that Montreal, again, is the only

consulate processing them

I think i've just shown that some of these folks have no idea what is going on lol.

Anyone else care to give it a try?? I was slightly annoyed by this!!!

Hey MSR,

I called to try adn indulge your question and all she said was "eligible but not schedualed" and then quickly yet politely hung up....

Really??

I have to ask what is going on there? Why would this lady say this??

I find everytime I call someone has something different to say & I never hear the same thing twice (except for no, no interview)

My fiance called when we were waiting for P3 to be logged & they told him that MTL only books interviews the first week of the month. As we all know that isn't true!

My fiance called this morning as a result of what the woman at DOS told me yesterday and was told that September interviews will be booked and show in their system after the middle of august.

However, HalfnHalf recently got a September interview. I think this may be because they have been waiting since May so it was first come , first serve ( as it should be, they had been waiting a long while )

Let's hope that they will book for September AFTER the middle of August. I believe Tater calls today, we'll see if she was told anything different. :)

Have a good day everyone!!

I wonder if Tater has called yet today......

Can I have your opinions...? Ok so I want a traditional wedding, therefore I have chosen BM dresses for my girls BUT since I do not have a date yet I can not set the official weddign date and then maybe whenever it is one of my girls won't be able to attend?!? If I don't order them in the next week or two they won't be ready for when I want teh wedding (late dec. early jan.) which is also when the one girl is in Canada (she's from NZ so if the interview/wedding is delayed to long she won't be able to be at teh wedding adn therefore won't need the BM dress.....)

What should I do??? Shoud I take the chance and order them that way we have them ...and if it falls through just get a stand in to wear her dress?Or should i try and wait for the interview date.....?

Honestly, I'd wait for the interview date. The visa is good for 6 months after it is issued. You don't have to move right away to the US. You can have more time to plan this. Plus, what are the odds you're going to find the EXACT same body shape as the original girl for the 'stand in'?

Good luck
