Where i can find cheapest hotel near in St. Luke's Manila? My daughter need to stay 6 months in Manila for everyday treatment in st. luke's. Please help me.

Paying for a hotel everyday would be crazy right? why not rent a cheap place that isnt far from st lukes? Much cheaper option especially if you can find someone to share rent

A "Bedspacer" is going to be a fraction of a hotel cost, and there are plenty near St. Lukes. You can just walk around and find them since so many of them don't advertise anywhere. There's just a sign out front. So she could get a hotel for a day and find one. She can get an apartment the same way, if you want more than a bedspacer.

The Townhouse Hotel is about as cheap as it comes.

I don't know why the bad reviews. We had fun, and we didn't have any problems, other than an inattentive staff at times.

also you may want to consider renting just a bedroom at a house or apartment. with st lukes being a medical school as well as being near some colleges, im pretty sure there are students/people looking to share an apartment with another person...or a house looking to rent out one of their rooms.

There are lots of boarding houses in Sampaloc, for instance, where they convert store fronts into a Sari Sari store, or a restaurant in front, bunk beds in back, and the family that runs the place living upstairs. A bed costs about 1000PP a month, or about $20.00. They mainly cater to folks going to the college and the university.

It is the medical extension one by the embassy. All things medical for immigration have 2 be done there as far as I know.

Ahh ok. I thought it was a general question since they mentioned "every day treatment" for 6 months. Wasn't sure if the SL Ext in Ermita did treatment. Although if it's a 6 month course of TB meds that's directly observed (DOTS) or something similar it could very well be the St Luke's Extention in Ermita.

There are lots of boarding houses in Ermita, Malate and Sampaloc as mentioned above. The trick is finding a good one and a place where the daughter will be comfortable. A lot of students in the Universities stay in such places and can be cheaper than hotels.

You could also try renting an apt or condo in bldgs that cater to students in the same neighborhoods. Or if you really want a hotel, there's the Charter House in Makati that gives discounted rates for long term stays. Rates for a monthly stay in a standard room is P60k tax included, compared to a daily rate of P3k for a std room. Their number is (632) 8176001-16. (Me & my fiance are both Metro Manila residents and we use Charter House for occassional "staycations".)
