I haven't yet received the letter for my Biometrics appointment, but it has only been 17 days since USCIS received my stuff. Can I go and try to do my Biometrics early before getting the letter which states the date of my appointment or do I have to wait for the letter before trying to do my Biometrics early?

Thanks

You will have to wait until they send you an appointment letter. It was almost 6 weeks before my husband got his. Just be patient. It takes a while. We waited for 4 months before he got his EAD. They are not quick to respond about anything

Were your checks cashed? Did you sign-up for acceptance through G-1145 form?

You need to wait for the hard-copy letter from USCIS to even try a walk-in Biometrics. It appears that it has been taking about 2 weeks for people to get that letter, provided the application has been accepted.

Yours should be coming any day now.

if we could all go in with out that letter it would be so nice, since i've been waiting over 2 months for my bio letter. without that letter, they will not even let you in the door. :(
