Hey everyone,

We are waiting for my wife to get her letter saying when she has her interview for her citizenship and when we checked her status online it says they sent a request for evidence at the end of June 25th that we never received. We also got around that time a request for her biometrics to be done, when we called and talked to some one at uscis they said that if we did not get the letter it should be resent in a month. That does not sound right to me because I do not think they would have sent her for her fingerprints if we were missing something and also the guy we talked to should be able to tell us what the request for evidence was for right? I can not believe that I have never had a request or problem with any paper from the I-130 till the adjustment of status and on our last paper we run into a problem. any advice my VJ friends?

I think that the person you spoke to has no clue. if you read other posts, the request for evidence is the biometrics letter. many people have received it and the got scared only to recieve the biometrics letter, which you did. sometimes the don't update online.

This statement basically covers 99% of people you call and talk to.

Correct - RFEs are biometrics. They will send you another letter mentioning anything they would like you to bring on your interview day.
