Deployed and about to return home in 2 months

We need help ! My fiance is currently deployed in Iraq and is starting to fill out the K-1 visa forms as we plan to get married in May 7, 2011. He doesn't know what address to put on the visa as he is about to return in 2 months and will not have a current address to put on the form. How should we proceed with that ??

Could he use his parents adress for now?

If so, he can update it with USCIS when he gets back and has an adress again.

Just be careful with setting (wedding)dates, you never know what can happen!

07/15/10 : Green Card recieved (47 days after POE)

04/02/12 : ROC NOA1
05/24/12 : ROC Biometrics
12/19/12 : ROC Approval
12/24/12 : New GC recieved

3/18/16 : N-400 Application sent
3/25/16 : Text/Email confirmation NOA
4/22/16 : Biometrics Appt

6/24/16 : NOA date for Interview

We did the EXACT same thing. Put his home of record address as long as someone is living there to collect the mail. If no one is living there he may want to have someone go check it every so often.

See profile for our K-1 Visa/AOS story from 2010-2011Apparently we love USCIS/NVC so much we left and are doing it again! This time giving IR-1 a whirl. Rock on immigrators.

07/09/2014 sent in IR-1 packet to Chicago Lockbox

07/16/2014 NOA1

07/17/2014 check cashed by USCIS

10/01/2014 found out we are expecting baby #2 June 2015!

12/15/2014 NOA2

12/30/2014 Case received by NVC

03/23/2015 Received Case and Inv # from NVC after many calls and bogus excuses.

03/24/2015 AOS payment accepted by NVC

04/09/2015 IV payment finally accepted by NVC after the set the wrong fee and took weeks to correct it.

*many more delays thanks to the agency processing my fingers prints to the RCMP and the post office losing our mail*

05/20/2015 Packet sent to NVC via UPS, eta May 28.

06/16/2015 Baby #2 due - homebirth in Scottsdale, AZ
