Co-sponsor question

My ex-husband has agreed to be my co-sponsor. I tried to find someone else but couldn't. He agreed to co-sponsor because our son loves my new husband. Anyway my ex-husband gets his income from his General Motors pension and Social Security which is $30,000 per year. On the affidavit of support it will be himself, my new husband and our son.

My ex-husband pays me $700 per month in child support and pays $100 a month for Medicare. My question is will the CO deduct these amounts from his current income? They will know about the child support because I claimed it on my affidavit of support and they will know about the Medicare because it will be on the income statement from Social Security.

Thanks for any responses.
