some questions regarding I-134/evidence for financial support

As I try to collect the materials for I-134 financial support, I have some questions I hope people can help me here.

I have a savings account with an online bank, so there's no physical local bank where I live. I can print out the monthly statements, which shows the balance and all the transactions in that month. I plan to print the last 6 monthly statements. Would those be Ok at the visa interview? My fiancee is in China and will go through the GUZ consulate. I ask this because the instruction for I-134 says I should submit a "statement from an officer of the bank" that should contain "date account opened, total amount deposited for the past year, and present balance". Is it really necessary to have a bank official issue a statement and the first two items: date account opened, total deposit in the past year?

Second question is regarding paychecks. I'm a 1099 employee, I get monthly paychecks as my pay. I don't have those pay stubs. The paychecks look just like personal checks. Last few months, I have been making image copies of these before I deposit them every month. So, would these be Ok to present as proof of my current income?

Thank you for any answer and help.

hey Roger -

-- I ask this because the instruction for I-134 says I should submit a "statement from an officer of the bank" that should contain "date account opened, total amount deposited for the past year, and present balance"

You should be able to call customer service, have this letter generated then signed by an officer of the bank. They can then postal mail it to you.

-- I'm a 1099 employee - you signed a contract somewhere, yes? Anything state hourly rate? Suggest you include that, as well . re: copies of paychecks - absolutely !

Good Luck !
