USCIS website case status

Hey guys, quick question. Received my NOA1 hardcopy on the 24th of July and I've been checking the USCIS website for my case status and it tells me that my case isn't in the system. I registered for an account and when I tried to add my receipt number to my portfolio it still says that my case is not in the system. I've called USCIS and told me that it can take up to 30 days from the effective date until it can be in the system. Is this the norm? I'm going crazy checking everyday to see any update and it still shows no update.. Oh and my case was sent to CSC. You guys got any info on this?

Even if it is in their system, you wont see any changes until someone actually looks at. Other than signing up for the email and text alert, which you'll get when your I-129f is aproved (NOA2), the online status update was more aggravating than anything else.
