Interview appointment

Hello everyone...USEM Manila received our case from the NVC....i read in the forum that there's no need to wait for the packet 3 to set an interview appointment..wanna ask when can i call the embassy to possibly set an appointment? any insights please....thanks and God bless us all!!!

Right now!....When they ask if you have received your email to set an appointment, just say yes. The email they send is just to tell you that you can schedule an interview and provides this link to a document on their webpage that tells you what you need to prepare for the interview. http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwfk1en.pdf If they dont let you schedule an interview, regardless of how long they tell you wait to call back, call every day until you do.

....good day..my petitioner just received mail from nvc indicating case no...and they said they will forward it to the manila embassy..after the manila embassy will receive our case what will they do next..?same with you i also read the post that the manila embassy will no longer send a packet 3?what documents do i expect from the manila embassy to send me..?

They wont send you anything but an email with the link I provided. I called about a week after I knew NVC sent the Package to Manila. I never waited for the email. You will need to download the forms, fill them out, and take them to the interview with you. In fact, we never even got the email. I just called and told them we had and was allowed to set an interview date. There is some very good info to be found in this forum on what is required for Manila, you just need to search for it.

I agree ...we still didn't receive any letter from the Us embassy..but we do have our interview appointment already..whenever we knew that our petition was forwarded to Manila, my fiance kept on calling them everyday until they were able to give us a date....perseverance is the keys..if ever your fiance would call the embassy, tell him not to ask whether they received your petition or not..go tell the operator directly that you want to schedule for interview..if they ask if you get the letter from the embassy, just say YES...God bless to all of us...:-)

thank you for the info..but i heard that one requirements in the interview is the appointment letter..what if i already sched my interview and i still dont have an appoinment letter...?

When you make your interview appointment, give the Embassy the beneficiary's email address. The Embassy will immediately send the beneficiary an interview appointment confirmation email. Print out the interview appointment confirmation email and take it with you when you go to your interview. You will need it.

thank you everyone....appointment for the interview set on aug 24th....praying that God will help me and let me bring the pink - it will be a great great advance birthday present for me
