Awkward English

One thing that bothers me at times is people who'll look down on you or use the famous "Learn English!" due to your accent, even if the English itself is perfect.

Some prejudiced people barely know their own native language yet will hate on foreigners that know 2 or more languages fluently.

Also, for a person to be so mean to a foreigner 'cus of immigration issues when they don't know if the person is an illegal, a resident, or a turist irks me.

All that being said Bohr, we're not making fun of bad English that way, just about how cute it is, as I'm sure it'd be just as funny if the USCs were trying to speak their SOs language. It's not meant as an insult.

Well, English is my second language and also my husband's second language so we both make mistakes in English, mostly in propositions or pronounciation (I make the most of those). He does laugh lots about my Spanish and I about his Portuguese.

oh really

Damn Charles, that was a simple typo.

and it took you almos 2 years to come up with an answer :P

 I never read this topic again till now.
