I JUST CALLE DTHE NVC AND ASKED FOR AN UPDATE FOR MY CASE THEY SAID ITS UNDER FINAL REVIEW SEEING THEY HAVE RECIEVED THE AOS AND DS-230. FROM CHECKING THE VISA BULLETIN A VISA NUMBER WILL BE AVAILBLE FOR MY HUSBAND EFFECTIVE AUGUST FIRST BECAUSE HIS PRIORITY DATE IS 2/2009. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW LONG AFTER FINAL REVIEW WILL THE CASE BE COMPLETED/ OR ANY ONE HAD ANY EXPERIENCE LIKE MINE CAN SHARE AS TO THE STEPS THAT CAME AFTER. YOUR INPUT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!

OKAY JUST AN UPDATE FROM YESTERDAY I CALLED THE NVC THIS MORNING AND THEY SAID MY CASE IS COMPLETE. YEAH! WHO-OOO!!!!!!!!! NOW AM WAITING FOR THE INTERVIEW SEEING THAT A VISA WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR MY PETITION ON AUGUST FIRST DUE TO MY PRIORITY DATE BEING FEB 2009. HERES A QUESTION DO YOU THINK THAT AS ARESULT OF MY CASE EING COMPLETED ALREADY AN INTERVIEW DATE CAN BE GIVEN FOR AUGUST, SEEING MY PRIORITY DATE WILL BE CURRENT?

Once your file is complete, and once you have reached your priority date, the file is passed to the US embassy (or consulate) in your home country so that you can arrange an interview for your immigrant visa. Your interview will not take place until you are eligible, meaning that your priority date has been reached in our processing queue and there are additional immigrant visa numbers remaining.

i think your interview will be on september...because usually the consulate will inform the applicant about the interview at least one month before that date...

not unless they will contact you on within this month...which might be improbable because we have 3 days left for this month...
