i GOT MY CITIZENSHIP RECENTLY AND FILED FOR I 1-30 FOR MY MOM LAST WEEK ANY IDEA OF WHAT TO EXPECT?

It runs more or less like any other I 130. Occasionally Nigeria will ask for DNA test but not normally. Be prepared to show that you have insurance lined up to cover medical cost especially if she has pre existing conditions.

Not too consigned about the medical cost, just wishing it will take less than 6months or 6months max, what do you think? for the DNA i dont mind going over there to do the test when they need it, can u tell me the time frame you think it will take to get all this done? and also let me know when i will be expecting to hear from them, they still havent cashed my check but i figured its still early cos its arround 2 or 3weeks now.Thanks

You are probably looking at close to a year. If they want the DNA you don't need to travel they can collect your sample here , hers there. They tend to do that more with fathers than mothers. I am not sure if the timeline estimates work for parental visas
