In Jamaica is packet 3 mailed to you via DHL or regular mail?

It is sent regular mail and it took us a couple weeks I think to get ours. Some people never got theirs at all.

you can also download all the forms and e-mail them to the embassy.

we never got ours. if you click on "embassy" info above you will see some of what you need for packet 3.

It is sent regular "snail mail" we never got ours. We had to go to the Embassy website and pull the forms off line and also by reading on here what Package 3 included.

Many on here got it by email - the appointment notice is not in the packet.

The appointment letter is in packet 4

I tried to do a search for a thread that included all of Packet 3 yesterday and could not find the search function anymore

I will look again...

your best bet is to e-mail the embassy and request they send you packet 3 that way

For us I emailed them the ds-230 signed and they sent via mail both myself and fiance a copy of packet 3 (a checklist of all the forms and how to access them on the internet, no actualy papers were printed) and packet 4(interview date). Also, you can download the medical forms on state.gov website, but my fiance said that the hospital provides them as well. I would send my fiance the medical form on the website just in case the embassy try to throw you for a loop for not having it on the right form.

I will have to echo what the other ladies have said. We never got our packet 3. But with the help of this wonderful site and all of its helpful individuals, we were able to download all the forms needed.

Thanks for all your advice. After several emails to the Embassy, they finally scheduled an appointment - Sept. 28th!! Tickets bought and bags packed!

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread but I too had a few questions about packet 3. I just need to clarify the way in which the form was emailed as I believe the pdf format in which it is presented does not allow for information to be saved. So is it scanned or what? Also I would appreciate the exact e-mail address that was used.
