As you now live together at your mother's house, according to your other thread, I assume you do not have a lease together? You should submit other docs proofing you live together- bills, ideally joint, mail going to the same address, that sort of thing. Another biggie is co-mingling of resources, so showing that his money goes into a joint bank account, you co-own any property, cars etc. Bring documents that you are on his health insurance, that you are his next of kin at work in case of emergency.

As to questions, it depends on how suspicious they are of you.... if you have plenty of documentation, they may not ask any questions, just looks at it and approve you. They may ask a few questions similar to the initial K1 interview (how did you meet, what is his sister's name and birthdate, tell me about your wedding, who was there... that sort of thing.). If they are suspicious, you might get called to a second interview, a Stokes Interview. This is where both of you (usually at the same time) get asked many detailed questions, such as what was the last dinner you ate together, how does he take his coffee, what is her favourite color etc etc. The moves Green Card and the more recent The Proposal will give you an idea :)

I am getting nervous about it. So I would like to know what kind of questions will they ask and the most impt docs they'll ask.

This list will give you an idea of what questions could be asked.

The list is not all inclusive, but you can also go to the Reviews page and see specific experiences at different USCIS local offices :)

I am getting nervous about it. So I would like to know what kind of questions will they ask and the most impt docs they'll ask.

Everyone's experience will be different, but here is what we were asked:

1. Questions in regards to her criminal history; has she ever been arrested or in trouble with the law

2. Where did we meet

3. How long were we together before we decided to get married

In all honesty, our interview was more like talking to an old friend. They guy was very nice and friendly. Try not to stress out. Take the documents that your interview notice asks for and be honest to any question that is asked. As long as your marriage is genuine and loved based, you will do fine.

There are at least 2 reasons why you got Interview for AOS. First, randomly selected and second, they suspect something not 'right' with your marriage.

The second case - where they suspect something - the interview would be much detail. Make sure you have plenty of evidence of bona fide marriage - especially you are still in the early beginning of marriage.

The fact that you're living with your mother and sister could be a 'red flag' in this case - because it might bring the issue that you marry a USC to reunite with your mother and sister. I read many cases where couples live with the USC parents because they cannot afford their own apartment yet - and they sent letter from the parents saying that they live with them. Those cases are reasonable enough.

Good Luck!!
