proof of current employment

hi ya'll

for my AOS, i864 proof of current employment requirement, do I still need to get a letter from my boss stating my job, income etc ..... or monthly pay stubs are fine?

I just want to send my AOS pack tomorrow and if a letter from my company is needed... i'll have to wait for a couple more days. :huh:

If waiting two more days is going to kill you then send it in. However, I suggest you get the letter from your employer to be safe. Why take the chance. In the grand scheme of things what is two more days. Your SO is already here and by your side.

, if you can get a letter from your employer do so, at minimum, provide tax returns for at least 2 years, & copy of recent pay stubs. It wouldnt hurt to send in a copy / staement of your bank account.

and Prior to the interview Have a letter from your employer to show at the interview.

The letter should include your start date, salary, and position description... your pay stubs probably do not reflect all of the information. I, personally, would wait and include the letter.

No... the letter does not need to be notarized. Just be sure it's on your company letterhead.
