the consulate never returned the original police clearance to my honey after her interviews was completed and she was approved. Will we need it during the adjustment of status procedure??? Should she ask to have it back when she picks up her visa??

No she doesnt need it, they need it to be in her files. They will have all thos files when she comes to america. She has to give the big envelope they give to her with the visa at the POE.
