Hello,

I just wanted to point out that the example form section is great however I was wondering if anyone had some example forms on how to file for my future wife's child? I'm looking for any examples that I need to file to get her child into the country at the same time she does. I-130 form for the child, G-325 form, DS-230 form and maybe the I-864 form. I understand how to do for my wife but a little unclear on how to do for her child.

Thank you

Future wife's child or wife's future child???

If you are U.S citizen, you can transmit your citizenship to your child and get child's U.S passport. I did it and our newborn is USC.

Are you the U.S citizen and had been in the U.S for at least 5 years before the child was born?

If yes, you can get the child's U.S passport in around 1 month time.

What's the stage of your wife's I-130? If it is somewhere in the middle, you wouldn't lose any time for child's U.S passport processing.

Thank you

Kozmo, You can submit an I-130 petition for your stepchild since he/she is just 4 years old. But the situation is different if the stepchild is above 18 years old. The process is same. File the same paperwork that you are going to do for your future wife.

Good luck!
