Hey everyone,

My interview is coming up this Tuesday, and I have a list of stuff to bring....

1. passport

2. Scotia bank fee sheet

3. 2 photographs (print name on back)

4. OF-156/DS-156

5. DS-156K

6. birth certificate (long form)

7. marriage certificate (if any)

8. termination of previous marriages

9. police certificate(s)

10. court records (if any)

11. Affidavit of Support and signed OF-167 attachment (they will also ask for income tax returns and the W2 as supporting documentation)

12. medical (they do not ask for the chest x-ray so you don't need to bring it with you)

I've heard that I also need a copy of my birth certificate, is this true?

The Scotia bank fee, how much is it? and why does it have to be from a Scotia bank? Can I not give them the fee from my home town bank CIBC?

Thanks, I appreciate all responses!

Yes,, you'll need a copy of your birth certificate. They will take the original but give it back, and they'll keep the copy. As for Scotia bank, I would venture to say that the US government accounts in Canada are with Scotia. That is why. Good Luck on Tuesday!
