Hi,

I'm wondering what the interview date would be for a given date to send in the P3 forms. My fiancee already has all the P3 forms completed and ready to go. So, for example, if she mails them to GZ Consulate on Monday, 7/19, when should I expect the interview date to be? I'm asking because I really want to be in GZ for my fiancee's interview. But I don't have much vacation time and I have to give a fairly long advance notice at work. It's hard to arrange the trip far in the advance hoping to hit the interview date within my short vacation time window. Also, I heard a lot of times P4 comes very late. It would be almost impossible to wait for the P4 and then arrange my trip. So, any advice to clue me in as to when the interview date would be after sending the P3 would be really appreciated. Thanks.

From what I've been tracking - it varies, alas - between 4 to 16 weeks.

7 weeks seems 'standard', but that's only based on data from VJ that I've been studying.

Are you reviewing the K-1 timeline stuff in the portal here? The Portal 'limits' viewing data to GUZ.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thanks very much for the info. The portal thing is very useful, glad I found it out.

ya - sorry, had a mini-brain-fart there.

Once the P3 is sent back - is a GOOD IDEA to call DOS Hotline (# in my profile), get a HUMAN, and inquire for case status -

every day, around 11 AM EST.

One of those calls will be 'Packet 3 received' and another 'appointment date sent'.

You'll have about 4 days to 2 weeks before she actually receives packet 4 - AFTER DOS Hotline Human tells you when the 'appointment date is set' status .

I know it's not much, but maybe 4 days to 2 weeks will be useful?
