What is confusing? The form instructions are clear. Treat each form as a separate entity.

The answer is YES.

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

I'm not being rude. It's a matter of fact. You can't combine forms and supporting documentation at your own discretion. Just follow the instructions.

I'm not being rude.

You certainly come across as rude, if you're not meaning to be.

I know we all feel a little "RTFM" at times, but remember people do get bogged down in these things, the forms aren't always clear as they should be and this forum is for asking questions, not matter how stupid you may think they are.

You may refrain from making assumptions on my behalf and attempting to put words in my mouth.

I apologize if you perceived my answer as being rude.

And yes, to your AOS.. if it's the one I'm thinking of. I believe I responded to that one too and said you would be ok... Take a deep breath... you're trying to manage a lot right now.

We filed I-765 & I-485 together & only sent in one copy of my wifes I-94 and ONLY 2 Passport photos of her (I believe for her G325-A requirements) and 2 of Myself USC, we submitted then all in one envelope put cover sheets with each form (see attached) and a cover letter

We did not receive any RFE's and have already received our interview notice.

Addie, although you got away with it, getting an RFE on this sort of thing probably depends on which officer is dealing with your case, and what he had for lunch today (if it was the same thing as JenT did today, beware). I think in this case its better to give too many copies of things, rather than rationalising what USCIS asks for.

As JenT said so rudely earlier, follow the instructions and treat each form as a seperate entity, even if you are filing together and hopefully you'll avoid the RFE, even if officier is feeling crabby.

We sent in more than needed but filed everything in a way that it can be cross referenced, before we sent it we had an attorney look it over and we were told that it was fine and more organised than they have seen.

I agree it's better to send more than needed than get an RFE!

I agree with Addie...send in more than required!!

We apppliend I-485, with I-130, EAD,and AP etc altogether.

I sent all required documents and included a cover letter for each application. (This meant makind several copies of the same documets)

(They appreciate if you already have application 2 hole punched with ACCO fasteners). We may have oversent and been overprepared but I think it helped. ....We have received our interview with no RFE's and are experiencing a quick AOS process.
