How long does it take to print VISA

After 2 months of AP, Embassy finally asked for passport.Do you know how long does it take for them to issue visa. Its been one week and they have not called me :unsure:

After 2 months of AP, Embassy finally asked for passport.Do you know how long does it take for them to issue visa. Its been one week and they have not called me :unsure:

Depend on where you are and what embassy you sent your paperwork to.

Almost all the large embassies can print the actual visa within an hour or so, the extended wait is because there are so many to process. In some cases the embassy cannot print the visa them selves but have to have it mailed from the state department, stateside.

i dont think that it is the actually printing you are waiting on, i know of 3 ppl that were asked to submit there passport and it took around a month to recieve the passport and visa

05/27/2010: Approved at the interview, but put on AP afterwards :(

07/31/2010: Visa in hand!!! Thank you GOD!
