Hello all..

I have a quick question..My husband would like to get a CT drivers licence. Can he get one before getting a green card?

We are in the process of the AOS, they need more info from us, that will be sent out soon..So we are not sure if hes able to get one or not..

Thank you, April & Aaron

You will have to check your local DMV. I haven't been able to get one in Michigan in my married name and they wouldn't give me one in my maiden name because I already filed AOS papers in my married name. I have to wait for my green card. But other people in different states have been able to get one with no problems. It depends

Thank you for the quick response, we just called the DMV, and they said he has to bring his Passport, I-94, I-485, I-797, and marriage cert.
