I've had to stop using the word "washroom" because of the funny confused looks I get..... especially when asked in a restaurant. Apparently that means "laundry room" in this region. :lol:

Polperro and Whitby are lovely. I'm crushed that the movers lost a beautiful watercolour I had picked up in Polperro. :( (I always pick up a piece of local art from wherever I'm visiting.) So now I'm planning on going back for the 3rd time, next time I'm over, so I can replace it. lol. I'm still bummed out about it, though. :cry:
