Did anyone watch the Quatermass live TV thingy that went out a few years ago on BBC2? I think Jason Flemyng played Quatermass (far too young to play Q but did an adequate job).

That's one of the old series that the BBC destroyed, lot of the old 60s Doctor Who stuff went that way too.

It wasn't bad at all. It had David Tennant playing the doctor in it, just before (ironically) he was cast as Doctor Who.

My ex was in one of the Doctor Who radio plays back in the 90s on the BBC, I think it was The Holy Terror. He still gets hunted down on the Internet by rabid Doctor Who fans.

I always liked Colin Baker but he wasn't in the role for very long because of the whole Mary Whitehouse thing. That and they kept giving him shite scripts.

One of my mates used to live in Oxfordshire about 10 years ago and both Colin Baker and Alex Higgins used to live near him. Apparently both are raging alcoholics and Colin has let himself go in the best tradition of Marlon Brando.

I'd heard that about Alex Higgins, and saw him on TV shortly before I left -- tragic. Hadn't heard that about Colin Baker.

Someone please shoot me in the head because I just let my ex take the one currently operating vehicle I have (his is also having issues) so he can go to rehearsal with his stupid effing band. Seriously. I suspend my issues with handguns for this purpose, because someone needs to put me out of my suffering. It would be compassionate.
