I have just been checking the uscis services centres trend, and finally came to realise that csc is always ahead of vsc.In April 2010 when it was last updated csc churned out 2,919 completions(approvals)whilst snail pace vsc managed a minging 1,689 completions(approvals).what's happening at vsc?And another thing, why has the uscis not updated the website to reflect on may figures? Can the good captain Ewok plz suggest that to them.

Timeline

Well as of right now as I am posting according to what VJ Members are updating on their timelines, and from what I have been reading on the forums VSC has been pumping out approvals fast lately.

Right now:

CSC is working on K1 Dates May 2 2010

VSC is working on K1 Dates May 7 2010

and

CSC is working on K3 Dates March 16 2010

VSC is working on K3 Dates March 22 2010

so as of right now it looks like VSC is pumping them out faster and in record time.

Yea i see what you mean, but you are basing your judgement on the reports given by members on vj,take into consideration that out of possible 4.608 cases sent to uscis only a possible 1 or 2 % of us actually even know about vj let alone registered,so am afraid what we seeing here on vj is the experience of a handful of filers,i think you will find the uscis has the whole picture.

I agree with the other reply that the VSC seems to be picking up the pace...at least they did in my case :) But to answer your question, if you look at which states file with the CSC they are mostly the western states and some midwest states. The VSC sees all the eastern states and some midwest states, also filings from Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Not to mention that the with the exception of California, the eastern part of the country is more heavily populated than the west, resulting in more filings being sent to the VSC. I don't know if this is fact or not, but just my theory on why Vermont is typically slower than California.
