When my husband and I designed our package for the AOS process, we had it all organized in a multi-pocket file and it looked great. But as an extra precaution we booked and Infopass appointment just to make sure everything was filled out correctly and as soon as we showed the immigration officer our package she said that while the package looked great, the immigration officers will just dump it out, which is what she proceeded to do to really make her point! After that, we submitted it just as a stack of papers and the same thing for the ROC package.

I looked at that, don't think it's a good idea. They'd have to take each page out of those pockets one at a time. If they see something like that, they might put off doing yours until the very last, because it would be a huge pain for them. Gather your papers, put them in an envelope, and send it. No frills needed.

Exactly. Make it easy for them and they'll have no motivation to put you on the bottom of the stack for a few days.
