HELP! Our application was routed to Texas from Vermont

Hello everyone. Im a newbie here and am needing some enlightenment to all VJer's. We send our I-129F to VSC last June 17 and got a confirmation receipt that it was delivered to VSC at Saint Albans Vermont on June 19. Two days ago we've received a hard copy fo the confirmation reciept from USPS that our application was received and delivered to Lewisville, Texas last June 22. What does that mean? Does that mean that our application was routed to Texas? When are we going to get our NOA1? I dont think the case number is on the receipt we've got from USPS. Your reply is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance. Happy 4th of July. :-)

Did you get a notice from USPS or are you talking about their bank information printed on the back of your check when it was cashed?

The banking information on my check said Lewisville, TX, but it was still processed in Vermont, and I got my NOA2 only 22 days after my NOA1. It took 6 days from the date of receipt before they processed my NOA1 and cashed my check, but I didn't see the check hit my bank for 2 more days, and received the NOA1 a day later.

It'll happen quicker than you think once it gets started. Just hang in there.

Congratulations that your application has been approved at very short time. That's amazing. :-) Thank you for replying. We really appreciate it. We got a hard copy receipt from USPS that said it was delivered and received in Lewisville, Texas. We dont have the NOA1 copy yet. We paid them through money order so I guess there's no way we can find our case number unless we had the hardcopy of NOA1 right? The receipt says it was received by TSC on June 22. I hope we too will have NOA2 at a short period of time like you.

They are now sending them to Texas for the initial intake/ processing, like cashing the checks. Vermont still does the petition processing and approvals.

Ours was sent to Vermont, routed to Texas, check cashed in Texas. I assume it was then sent back to Vermont. There are so many fast approvals lately, and I hope ours joins that group soon, and good luck to you too.
