Hi,

My fiance and I have just received the NOA2 so we are just getting everything together. We just wondered what this...

Send all originals of the documentary proof that you submitted for the I-129F to your fiance(e) for their interview at the embassy.

...means by "originals of the documentary proof"???

What should he be sending me in regards to this?

Thanks in advance.

Originals of the photos, letters, bills (phone records), ticket stubs, etc...

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

I just sent one of the i-129 copies to Ian to take to his interview. We bundled together whatever original plane tickets we had left, photos and some greeting cards. Don't send important things like original birth certs, or passports, btw.

The alien fiancee that will be having the interview should have the original of every item copied and submitted in the original I-129F packet. Many (most) people do not do this for things like airline boarding passes, hotel receipts, and other documentation of having met in person for example. But the CO is allowed to ask for the original of anything that has been submitted.

Typically, people make sure the alien fiance(e) has the USCs birth certificate original and divorce decree original (if applicable).

Good luck.
