My fiance is finishing her paperwork. I have a question and I hope you all can help me with this. She filed a tourist visa back in 2007 that was denied to visit her uncle in usa. Would this at all affect the K-1 visa? I told her to be honest when she fills out her side of the documents regarding the K-1. Feedback and advice would be of help. Thank you.

nop.. just tell the CO the truth if that question arise.. just be honest... she will be fine.. good luck... :thumbs:

N-400:
May 9, 2017: N-400 packet was sent
May 15, 2017: NOA1 
June 05, 2017: Biometric Done
June 19, 2017: Case is in Line for an Interview
June 25, 2018: USCIS Scheduled an Interview
Aug. 02, 2018: Interview Date- APPROVED!
Aug. 09, 2018: Oath Ceremony

Depends on the reason for the denial for the visitors visa.

If it was because of "immigration intent" - no issue.

If it was for something more nefarious - then it could be an issue.

Concur with answering all questions honestly.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
