That's interesting; a US/Canada couple with an interest in Sriracha from Thailand.

Before I went to Thailand I had no idea it existed, but what I like about it is that it's

not just very hot, it has a flavorful quality that other hot sauces don't match.

not sure how interesting it is.. lol

you can find Sriracha at a lot of the Chinese restaurants around here..

Since I've been going to Thailand (about 7 years ago now), they had it

among the sauces/condiments available in my employer's cafeteria.

I used to fill tiny plastic containers (like they have at MickeyD's) and

bring it home, until we found an Asian store nearby that has it.

I'm particularly fond of Sriracha sauce from Thailand,

but this is a list of hot sauces in the US - which ones are your favorites?

Me too.

I also like the chili sauce my wife makes. Garlic, chilis, lime, fish sauce and other stuff I can't remember. The hotter the better.

I am pretty sure a lot of grocery stores carry it too... I have bought it and it wasn't at a Asian store...

... and I read that Walmart sells it too..

Yep. I get Sriracha from Walmart. That's probably my favorite. Valentina is good, too. But for raw oysters I have to have regular Tabasco.

Come to think of it I think I spied it in the local Shopwell; but we don't shop there,

I go there with my 85 yr old mom because that's the most convenient store for her.

I've noticed recently that they now have a wider variety of exotic fruits that they never used to have.
