I like the others really enjoyed meeting up. Sharing our immigration stories as well as all the differences that we have notice since moving to the US. As different as all of our stories are in the end we all went through the same process.

I really enjoyed the view of the falls from the US side. There is so much more room to walk at the pace you want. It's not over crowded like the Canadian side.

I look forward to keeping in touch and getting together again.

I do have pictures but do not know how to post pictures here.

I tried and can't get it to work...LOL

What part doesn't work?

When I first tried it I couldn't get them to load onto VJ either. Now I copy the "IMG code" for a particular photo from Photobucket , paste that into the "Image URL" spot that comes up when you open the little photo icon in a post, delete the CAPS IMG and leave the lower case img, post and it seems to work.

Does that make any sense? :)

Great photos. I think we all took the same shots. :)

You can edit the photos on photobucket before posting, I've had good luck just changing mine to "medium."

I look forward to keeping in touch and getting together again.

I do have pictures but do not know how to post pictures here.

Sdw-Thanks too, Sdw, for posting the scenery photos (they look great!) of Niagara Falls. I agree, that the park-like setting of the American side of the falls is better than the Canadian touristy side of the falls. And hence, I thought that it would be a good place for us to all meet.....

I liked meeting up too, and ys, despite the differences, we still have the common experience of immigrating to the USA and going through more or less the same processes.....

I look forward to keeping in touch and getting together again too...

However, Everyone, as for group meetings, Ill leave that for other VJers, instead of me to arrange for such, as that way everyone can take a chance at organizing VJ meetup events such as this too......Lol.....

Nevertheless, glad you all enjoyed this meetup and hope you all enjoy future meetups too

Try this link. I have just started using it and it seems to be working well. Photobucket You upload your photos to the site then add them to your VJ post using the photo icon. :)

I tried and can't get it to work...LOL

OBX and Sdw-Likewise, I've had problems with photobucket and other photo-sharing websites before too..

Lol..I've given up on it...So I'm just going to let the rest of you post the photos, if that's alright with you, since you all do a better job on it......

Thanks again for posting the photos...:) They look great!

OBX-Lol..That makes sense actually.....Wish I had known about that before I deleted my photobucket account....Oh well....

Lol...I took similar shots too...Guess that's what happens when we all go to the same place and stand close to each other...

I love the pictures!! I've never been to the Falls. We were going to go there during our honeymoon trip, but the weather sounded like it was nasty at the time, and we were also needing to head down to St.Louis, so we skipped it. But.. someday...*sigh*

TimandJoyce-Laughing is good....:) Glad you laugh too. Better to be happy than to be sad, right?

I love the pictures too (I would have posted mine as well, except I can't figure out how to do such on VJ....)...

Thanks again OBX and Sdw for posting the photos here....

And yes, definitely visit the Falls sometime in your lifetime....It's an experience you'll never forget!

It's open all-year round, so you can go anytime too....

I highly recommend the US side of the falls (Niagara Falls State Park) though, as you can see from the photos, the scenery is great and it is such a beautiful park setting to walk through.....
