Ok, ok....and Guinness. Have some marmite here too, if you want it. Erm....and some brand new 1950s dishes? (Seriously...just found them upstairs last week. They're ruby-coloured glass) Umm.....how about a computer? LOL Got plenty of those.....

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

OHHHH the dishes sound lubberly. I have a small collection of red glass, that stuff can be worth a small fortune you should do some checking.

Guinness, eww, marmite eww, computers hmmm three is enough and the hubby is bringing home one more for his work when he arrives.

My address is...............I hear UPS is a good shipping company! :lol: Red tableware is very popular at the moment, that of course means jack sh*t to me as I have been collecting for nearly ten years. Maybe Sian would like it?

She and I both tend toward warm, earthy colours. Bright, deep red doesn't really fit that. Like I said, it's new 1950s....so it's already packed nicely in a box. I can send you pictures if you like, and if you want it, let me know. Otherwise, eBay here I come. LOL

Sure would love to see it. So long as it isn't that ugly Avon stuff. The glass I collect varies from deep reds to oranges. Our house is done mostly in oranges and browns, but the red adds a nice touch. You should really find an antique dealer and have it appraised, especially since it is still in the box.

Ok, here they are. Keep in mind that they are currently coated in 50 years of "funk"... and they aren't as dark as they look. Only one light up there right now. (The master bedroom, which has no walls or ceiling....) They were stored in a cabinet in the "dressing room".

Ahh of course it is the very deep red, find out a good estimate on them and let me know. Who knows might meet up before next spring :D !

Might have to tell the hubby to just let me have them, since this is what has kept me busy while in limbo.

Pretty, have seen some of this set before.

Okay back on topic, think the anxiety has just kicked in. Trying my hardest not to hurl! I am supposed to leave for work in the next ten minutes, really don't feel like being on the road or at work waiting for this call! Think at this point I won't get the call for at least another 30 minutes due to the delay he had getting in. *SIGH* Will post from work if I hear good news, be patient as it is dial up and will take me an hour just to get online! :lol:
