Questioning concerning I-751 and forgotten AR-11

Hello all,

I am preparing my I-751 for my wife this month and we just moved to a new address last week. When we first moved to the US together 2 years ago, we lived at my parent's house for a few months while I looked for a job and a new address after living abroad for 3 years. This was the address USCIS had on file. We moved to a new address for one year, then when I decided to go back to school we moved back into my parent's home for 6 months to save some money. I was doing all the necessary change of address information for our current move when I realized that I hadn't filed an AR-11 for our first move out of my parent's house, though I had filed the I-865 for myself every time. It completely slipped my mind and by the time I realized it we were living at our old address again, so I figured it wouldn't be a big deal. In other words, we lived at address 01(on file), moved to address 02(did not file), moved back to address 01, then moved to address 03(filed last week).

Now that I'm submitting my I-751, it asks about previous addresses. I want to be completely honest and list all of the places we've lived over the last 2 years, but the AR-11's we've filed don't reflect that. Any thoughts on what to do? Should I include a letter informing them of my mistake? Sorry if this was confusing, but I appreciate the help.

Jon

I would list all the places where you have lived on the form and just make sure that they have your current address right in the system. After that you don't have to worry because they will use the address given on your I-175 form to send all correspondence once they receive it. Many people including myself forgot to send AR-11 at the correct time.
