Hello Guys..

This site really helped me to get K1 filed properly. I still have couple of questions which are still unanswered.

1. Can i accompany my Fiancee in the interview.. The interview will be in Mumbai Consulate. Anyone had a problem or someone thinks if that will be a problem?

2. Wat shud be the answer for " Why did u choose to get married in US rather than getting married in India when i can come to accompany her to the interview.

3. Will parents visit to US during the wedding ? If not, Then why ? ( will the answer "Yes if visa was approved" is appropriate ?

I have other questions on my mind too but its not coming to my lips. Sorry :(

I can't answer #2 and #3 as there is no 'right or wrong' answer. Just the truth -- whatever that may be in your case.

As for #1, you can always go to the Consulate with your fiancee to provide moral support but Mumbai doesn't let the USC petitioner in. Only the beneficiary is allowed to attend the interview. She can always show your passport to demonstrate that you're waiting outside for her.
