Hello

I am a bit confused, we just got our NOA2 in mid May 2010, then we got a letter from NVC at the end of May 2010 saying they would send to US embassy Manila within a week. Now we have heard nothing since. Do we need to call the NVC center or the embassy to schedule an interview or will they schedule the medical and interview for us and then notify us? My fiance has not received any notification from the embassy yet so i assume we are okay. Is there any website or call service to know the schedule in advance before receiving a letter from the embassy? Please help me soon:)

thank you

First, regrading your email, you can enter that by going here to the USCIS site https://egov.uscis.g.../jsps/login.jsp, then sign up for case updates, the link on the left, enter your case number and setup an account and they will then email you automatically. You can also print out the email when they notify you see med exam, http://manila.usemba.../wwwh3218.html.

For all the questions and yours regarding your interview and setting it up, there are numbers to call form the US and Manila to do that and each call, of course cost money, see US Embassy manila http://manila.usemba...v/wwwh3238.html Also, it the email to them is NVCInquiry@state.gov for questions once you have an appoint case number with the embassy, just make sure you are real nice in all questions.

call the US embassy manila. coz they might got the case already. do not wait for the confirmation letter from them, coz that would take forever to arrive.

Via PLDT or SMART (with NDD or IDD access): Tel. No. 1-909-101-7878

Callers in the USA can also contact the Call Center at 1-888-877-9888. the fee is P53/minute here in the philippines and if you are calling from US you have to get a pin that cost $18 for 3 calls.. ask them if you are already eligible for an appointment, give them your Manila case number that is written on the NVC letter. they are going to ask you if your fiance already got the confirmation letter from them, in my case i didnt received any but i told them that i did. anyway this is a copy of the letter that they are going to send http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwfk1en.pdf just follow the instructions and all the things will go well. goodluck! godbless

I agree with this advice. However, ignore the Call Center if they say you're papers are not yet entered into the USEM system and to please call back in two weeks. Call back every day until you get the appointment.

You can also call the Immigrant Section of the USEM to make an interview appointment like I did. The phone number from the U.S. is 011-63-2-301-2000 Extension 5184 or 5185. You will actually talk to a real USEM employee in the Immigrant Section, instead of the script-readers at the Call Center. The best time to call is 8:00-9:00 in the morning...Manila time.

You already have you're MNL case number, so it's time to start calling for an appointment.

Good luck and bring home the pink! :star:

The first thing you should do is call the NVC and confirm that your case has actually been sent on to Manila. Sometimes they get hung up in "additional processing".

Thank you everyone, seems complicated. So technically the call center expects my fiance to have already received notification from the embassy in the mail before we can schedule our date and time? But we are still able to schedule if we have the manila case number. I will verify with NVC that it has been sent.. By the way does the embassy choose the date or do we have a choice in the date? I certainly don't want to have only 2 weeks notification before our interview date

thanks again

You are able to set the date with the Manila embassy.. They offer the earliest open date, but you are able to work with them to come up with a date that works for all.
