AOS-Interview Question-Birth Certificates

Hi! I did a search but couldn't seem to find an answer to this question so pardon my post if this has already been discussed!

We have our interview soon and on the list of items to bring with us it asks for birth certificates of "any children."

Does that many ANY children of either one of us? I have grown adult children (I am the USC) as well as a minor child. He (UK) has two minor children who he is NOT including in this AOS request. Which ones do we need? He will have to send quickly to the UK for their certificates and if they need certified official copies, it will cost us a lot! If they do need them but don't need certified copies, he can get an email copy we can print out and the official ones later, without having to pay for the expedited service.

So do we need ALL our children's birth certs or just any that would be included on the petition? Or just minor children?

Thanks!

Hey, to anyone else who might be confused about this,here is what I know/learned:

On our form I-797C, Notice of Action (interview letter) it says:

YOU MUST BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WITH YOU:(Please use as a checklist to prepare for your interview)

_ This Interview Notice and your Government issued photo identification

_ A completed medical examination (Form I-693) and vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope (unless already submitted)

_ A completed Affidavit(s) of Support (Form I-864) with all required evidence, including the following, for eachof your sponsors (unless already submitted)

- Federal Income Tax returns and W-2's, or certified IRS printouts, for the most recent tax year.

- Letters from each current employer, verifying current rate of pay and average weekly hours, and pay stubs for the past 2 months

- Evidence of your sponsor's and/or co-sponsor's United States Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status

_ All documentation establishing your eligibility for Lawful Permanent Resident status

_ Any immigration-related documentation ever issued to you, including any Employment Authorization Document (EAD) and any Authorization for Advance

Parole (Form I-512)

_ All travel documents used to enter the United States, including Passports, Advance parole documents (I-512) and I-94's (Arrival/Departure Document)

_ Your Birth Certificate

_ Your petitioner's Birth Certificate

_ If you have children, bring a Birth Certificate for each of your children.

_ If your eligibility is based on your marriage, in addition to your spouse coming the the interview with you, bring:

_ A certified copy of your Marriage Document issued by the appropriate civil authority.

_ Your spouse's Birth Certificate and your spouse's evidence of United States Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status;

_ If either you or your spouse were ever married before, all divorce decrees/death certificates for each prior marriage/former spouse;

_ Birth certificates for all children of this marriage, and custody papers for your children and for your spouse's children not living with you;

(there is a little more but my fingers are tired!)

So...the first request for children's birth certificates says if you have children, the "you" seemingly meaning the beneficiary but could be the "collective" you, including the petitioner.

In the second instance of the request it seems they want the birth certificates of all children of this marriage (which would seemingly be covered by the first one)

I asked this question on another board and someone there, two people in fact, said they asked for the BC's for the children of the USC as well as the UKC. Whether of this marriage or not! One had their interview last week in CA and one a couple years ago.

So...we are bringing all birth certificates of ALL children. His, mine, adult, minor, in the USA and in the UK! Which is what we should have just decided in the first place! LOL Hindsight is 20/20 Better safe than sorry.
