Hi Guys

I sent in my AOS for early this year.

I got word that on 03/24 i would have my Biometrics appointment

which i went too....

later i was told that my AOS had been transfered to California

on 04/12, this i am told means i wont necessarily have to have an

interview....

What i would like to know, now that it is June should i not have heard

something by now?

thanks inadvance

Not necessarily. Your time line seems still to be within normal values, so as frustrating as it is to wait, I would continue to do so for a little bit longer. Generally, AOS applications that are transferred to CSC are approved without an interview. I know it isn't reassuring but I waited for 8 months after my AOS was transferred to CSC which included 3 1/2 months after my biometrics (the second biometrics as the first one had expired). My timeline isn't usual, but it does indicate that just getting transferred to CSC doesn't always mean a quick approval, just one without an interview.

I expect you should hear something within the next few weeks. If you haven't heard anything by the end of June, then give them a call and try to get escalated to the level beyond who answers the phone. If you are really concerned, you can also make an Infopass appointment at your local USCIS office and speak with an immigration officer.

Good luck - I hope you hear something soon.
