Where on the i-134 does the notary sign?

Hi all

My fiance went to get the I-134 notarized today, but the notary wasn't sure where to actually sign and stamp it. There seems to be no space, just a line for him to sign and date it.

Browsing the topics here, it seems there was an older version of the i-134 that did have to be notarized, but the new version does not. Is this correct? Any advice appreciated!

Maybe the notary can just sign on the reverse? Just in case?

I read all the time that differenct consular officers are different, why isn't there just one straight rule for everyone! My interview in is London by the way, so anyone who has done this recently I would be glad to hear if u had your i-134 notarized or not.

No, you no longer need to get the I-134 notarized. London doesn't require this. (Why post it in the Philippines forum?)

K-1:

January 28, 2009: NOA1

June 4, 2009: Interview - APPROVED!!!

October 11, 2009: Wedding

AOS:

December 23, 2009: NOA1!

January 22, 2010: Bogus RFE corrected through congressional inquiry "EAD waiting on biometrics only" Read about it here.

March 15, 2010: AOS interview - RFE for I-693 vaccination supplement - CS signed part 6!

March 27, 2010: Green Card recieved

ROC:

March 1, 2012: Mailed ROC package

March 7, 2012: Tracking says "notice left"...after a phone call to post office.

Agreed - no longer required for the I-134 (that's why there is no place for a notary :no: )

Actually back when I filed I was a bit confused by this so I typed a cover letter listing the I-134 and my supporting documents and had it notarized at my office (then I figured out it wasn't required anyway :bonk: )
